MDA SHIELD

SHIELD provides the Missile Defense Agency with a vehicle for acquiring support for an advanced, multi-domain defense system capable of detecting, tracking, intercepting, and neutralizing or otherwise negating threats to the United States homeland, its deployed forces, allies, and friends across all phases of flight by ballistic, hypersonic, cruise missile, and other advanced aerial attacks.
