Akira Technologies is a NASA SEWP VI Contract Holder under Category B and Category C, providing federal agencies with information technology, communications and audiovisual products, services and solutions.

CONTRACT OVERVIEW

The SEWP Program enables NASA and all Federal Agencies to efficiently and effectively acquire mission critical Information Technology, Communication and Audio Visual (ITC/AV) solutions and services via a suite of contracts encompassing a diversity of business sizes and offerings. SEWP’s customized reporting, streamlined procurement processes, innovative applications, premier customer service, acquisition insight and Government/Industry partnership deliver the Best-in-Class value for the Federal Government.

NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI is a multi-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle. It features a $20B ceiling per prime contract and a 10-year ordering period. The GWAC core purpose is to streamline procurement of commercial IT, communications, audiovisual (ITC/AV) products, cloud, cybersecurity, and related professional services. The GWAC is divided into three segments: Category A, Category B, and Category C.

Category A (ITC/AV Solutions): Covers hardware, software, cloud solutions, maintenance, and product-based services. Split into unrestricted and SBSA groups.

Category B (Enterprise-Wide Service Solutions): Focused on enterprise-level IT, communications, and audiovisual infrastructure support services (open to all sizes).

Category C (IT Mission-Based Services): Restricted to small businesses.

FAIR OPPORTUNITY AND REQUESTS FOR QUOTES

Contract holders are given a fair opportunity at the individual order level in accordance with FAR 16.505(b), including through the SEWP RFQ tools. Documentation supporting order selection is retained by the issuing procurement office and is not submitted with the order.

Akira quotes only solutions listed on its SEWP VI contract. Items are not marketed, quoted or offered for sale until they appear in the SEWP database of record and are available to all government end users.

Where the government issues a Request for Information as part of market research, Akira may include items not yet on contract, provided each is clearly identified as not yet available and a technology refreshment request has been submitted to add it.

In response to a Request for Quote or Market Research Request, Akira quotes only items available on contract, at prices no higher than those in the SEWP database of record at the time the quote is issued. Where the contract does not hold enough items to respond fully, Akira submits a No Bid. Unless partial quotes are expressly permitted, responses address every requirement in the RFQ.

Every quote states the period for which it remains valid, and Akira honors any order placed within that period. Responses to requests issued through the NASA SEWP online quoting system follow the Contract Holder User Manual.

INSTALLATION, WARRANTY, AND SUPPORT TERMS

Because the SEWP VI Contract covers a broad and continually evolving range of products and services from multiple OEMs, installation, warranty, maintenance, and technical-support terms are not standardized at the master-contract level. Applicable terms may vary by manufacturer, product line, service offering, and prevailing commercial practices.

For solutions that include installation, warranty, maintenance, or support, the applicable scope, service levels, response times, coverage periods, and other requirements will be identified in Akira’s Technical Refresh Catalog and, as appropriate, negotiated at the Task Order level. Akira will identify relevant manufacturer or third-party warranty provisions and any proposed support offerings in its Task Order proposal response.
